In the digital age, modern technologies allow homes to be efficiently modernised to meet contemporary standards of comfort and functionality. One innovative project involved 3D scanning a home both inside and outside using a mobile scanner. The result? A georeferenced point cloud in the national coordinate system.

Scanning and Georeferencing Data

To ensure maximum accuracy, we conducted an RTK drone flight, generating a cloud of colour dots for the outdoors and surrounding areas. The integration into the national reference system was done using a GPS RTK, guaranteeing data accuracy.
Deliverables for Architectural Firm
Detailed 3D Model
We extracted a 3D model of the house and its surroundings, giving a full three-dimensional perspective.
Detailed Plans and Sections
The scanned data allowed the generation of detailed plans and sections of the building, providing a solid support for the design process.
Orthophotos of Facades
We created precise orthophotos of the facades, highlighting architectural features and allowing detailed analysis.
Mesh File for Architecture and Revit
For easy integration into the design process, we have provided a mesh file compatible with platforms such as Archicad or Revit.
3D Topographic Elevation
The data was used to generate a topographic survey, including contour lines, thus providing essential information for the upgrade project.

Data acquisition was done with Geoslam Horizon mobile scanner, Mavic 3 Enterprise drone and Geomax Zenith RTK GPS
