In an effort to provide students and the community with a modern and functional educational environment, an ambitious project to modernize a high school in a small urban town was initiated. This initiative included the implementation of advanced technologies to bring school facilities up to contemporary standards.

Adapt to the Demands of the Times

The high school, located in the heart of the town, underwent a complex 3D scanning process, covering both the interior and exterior of the building. Using a mobile scanner, we created a geo-referenced point cloud, ensuring maximum accuracy in the national coordinate system.

Data Scanning and Integration in Context

The RTK drone flight provided a cloud of colour dots to highlight the architectural details of the building and its surroundings. The integration of these data into the national reference system was done using RTK GPS, ensuring consistency and accuracy of the information.

Deliverables For High School Modernization

  1. Detailed 3D Model

    We created a detailed 3D model of the high school and its surroundings, providing a full three-dimensional perspective of the proposed changes.

  2. Detailed Plans and Sections

    The scanned data formed the basis for detailed plans and sections of the building, supporting the design and modernisation of the educational spaces.

  3. Facade Orthophotos

    Precise orthophotos of the facades highlight the architectural transformations, giving a clear view of the modernisation project.

  4. Mesh File for Integration into Design Platforms

    We have provided an adapted mesh file for easy integration into design platforms such as Archicad or Revit.

  5. 3D Topographic Elevation

    The information obtained was used to create a 3D topographic survey, including contour lines, thus providing a solid basis for planning the upgrade.

Conclusion

These deliverables not only reflect the current state of the high school, but also highlight its potential through modernization. Through the application of advanced technologies, we aim to contribute to the creation of an innovative educational environment, ready to meet the needs of students and facilitate excellence in learning. The high school upgrade represents not only a physical change, but also a commitment to the evolution of education in our urban community.
