Project details

In an effort to bring modern technology to the countryside and improve school infrastructure, an innovative project to modernise a traditional school has been implemented. This process included 3D scanning of the building and its surroundings using a mobile scanner, resulting in a geo-referenced point cloud in the national coordinate system.

Scanning and Georeferencing Data

To ensure maximum accuracy, we conducted an RTK drone flight, generating a colour point cloud for the exterior and surrounding areas of the school. The integration of these data into the national reference system was done by means of a GPS RTK, thus guaranteeing the accuracy of the information.

Deliverables for School Infrastructure Improvement

Detailed 3D Model
We extracted a detailed 3D model of the school and its surroundings, providing a comprehensive three-dimensional view of the entire infrastructure.
Detailed Plans and Sections
The scanned data allowed the generation of detailed plans and sections of the building, facilitating the process of assessing and upgrading school premises.
Orthophotos of Facades
We created accurate orthophotos of the facades, highlighting architectural features and providing important information for the retrofit project.
Mesh File for Integration in Platforms like Archicad or Revit
We have provided a mesh file adapted for easy integration into design platforms such as Archicad or Revit.
3D Topographic Elevation
The data obtained was used to generate a 3D topographic survey, including contour lines, thus providing essential information for the school modernisation and development project.


These deliverables not only document the current state of the school, but also provide a solid basis for the modernisation project, contributing to the improvement of school infrastructure in rural areas. By applying advanced technologies, we aim to facilitate the process of school modernisation and contribute to a more effective and sustainable educational environment in rural communities.
